🔹Chelsea hope to complete the signing of one of their two main defensive targets this week as they continue negotiations over Nathan Ake and Matthijs de Ligt.

🔹Bayern Munich are confident they can hijack Chelsea’s bid for De Ligt. Bayern do not want to be drawn into a bidding war with Chelsea and have instead worked on convincing Matthijs de Ligt to reject the Blues.

🔹Discussions regarding Nathan Ake are thought to be more advanced than Matthijs de Ligt. Man City want to recoup the £41M they paid for Ake, which isn’t expected to be an issue. Main issue holding up any deal is City’s desire to sign a replacement.

🔹Chelsea have been in contact with Man City over several players this summer and also hope to finalise the signing of Raheem Sterling before they fly out to the States this weekend.
