🚨 Bit more intel on Fofana. Chelsea and Leicester close to £20m apart in initial valuation. Chelsea are prepared to go up. Further talks this week. PSG have also enquired. They value Fofana at just under £55m all-in. Won’t be enough or even close.

Chelsea looked at Fofana in January and last summer with a view to future windows. Back then they thought £45m with add ons might be acceptable. But Fofana signed a new deal in March. Leicester really don’t want to sell.

Also understand when Fofana signed new deal he was told LCFC would listen to ‘fair’ offers in 2023. Leicester prefer to consider a sale next summer. Chelsea hoping Fofana’s openness to move may see Leicester soften a little on price. Not impossible but very challenging negotiation.
