Chelsea remain confident that a deal can be agreed with Leicester City for Wesley Fofana. There has been more ‘meaningful dialogue’ after the first two bids were rejected out of hand.

Chelsea hope a deal can be completed for Wesley Fofana before they play Leicester City on August 27. This is not because of the Premier League match, but due to it allowing Thomas Tuchel’s side to look elsewhere if a deal fails to materialise.
